The Natural Reserve of Aldea Luna is composed of 963 hectares (2,314 Acres) of forest, mountains, and rivers, between 1500 and 1800 meters of altitude.

Situated near the stop Tilquiza, located in the Northwestern  region of the Republic of Argentina, in the Province of Jujuy, and inside of the Biosphere Reserve of lasYungas, this magic and hidden place is accessible almost the whole year only by double traction vehicles (4 wheel drive) and in the summer (November to April) only by foot.

Before You Come
It is important that you bring the following
equipment: :

• Long Pants and Hat
• Warm Clothing (all year)
• Trekking Boots
• Rain Gear (November to April)
• Flashlight or headlamp
• Sunscreen

 Aldea Luna is a family enterprise, financed
only by tourism and volunteers, without any
financial contribution by the government
or ecological organization or NGO....

 For our transport service: Call 0388 155094602.
We will arrange to collect you in Jujuy or Salta.
(During the winter we can transport you as far as the
Reserve, but in summer it's very likely that a 3km walk
on the access trail will be necessary to reach the
Reserve)
