(During the winter we can transport you as far as the Reserve, but in summer it’s very likely that a 3km walk on the access trail will be necessary to reach the Reserve)

By Bus: You can take the bus from the bus station in San Salvador de Jujuy. The bus leaves every day at 7 in the morning from platform 12 with Ocloyas as the destination. (You should be there by 6:45am).

You should get off in Tilquiza (about an hour and a half bus ride) and there we will be waiting for you, and we will walk the 3km to the Reserve together. It is necessary to call us the day before you come (independently from making the reservation) to confirm that you are coming by bus, so we can remember to meet you because the route from Tilquiza to the Reserve is not marked.

In your own vehicle (only with double traction (4 wheel drive) and only between May and October): From San Salvador de Jujuy, take the “Ruta provincial 35” to Tilquiza. There we will be waiting for you, as long as you make previous reservations by calling ahead.

• Trekking Boots
• Rain Gear (November to April)
• Flashlight or headlamp
• Sunscreen
