Aldea Luna uses solar energy and is not connected to the electricity grid. Remember to bring extra batteries for your electronic devices and take them with you when you leave If you bring rechargeable batteries, bring them charged.
There is no cell reception, but there is a telephone line from which you can make and receive calls.
Remember that Aldea Luna is an isolated place, far from main roads, lights, and the noise of the city and its business.

It is important that you bring the following equipment:

    We recommend that you bring your things in a backpack…not a travel suitcase.

Extra for Volunteers:

  • Recommended: Rubber boots/Wellington boots and Working Gloves

We will arrange to collect you in Jujuy or Salta.
(During the winter we can transport you as far as the
Reserve, but in summer it's very likely that a 3km walk
on the access trail will be necessary to reach the
Reserve)
